Years later, centuries later, countries far away, away from the battles that left all but him dead, there he stands as the fire engulfs him. He knew of his immortality, he knew he could never die so he just stood there as flame after flame ran over him. His body burned and grew as he walked making him appear rippled through the flame. Not to say this didn’t hurt him; in fact it was excruciating, but he had to get to her. A laugh echoed in his ears, a voice high and dark like poisoned candy to the ears, “You’ll never make it in time. Just try!” And so he did pressing farther and farther into the flame. Then through the flame and smoke he sees her, what’s left of her. In a heap on the ground her body tremors with what little life is left in her. He rushes to her reaching down her cradles her mortal blackening flesh to him trying to make it stop. “You’re too late!” The words hit him like a blow to the head. He curses the day the gods made vampires, and werewolves and people with magic; himself. The woman in his arms reaches what’s left of her once porcelain like skin to touch his face and tries to speak, but the words can’t come out; her lungs are filled with smoke. However he can tell what she’s saying, “Run.” He pulls her tighter to himself hoping with all his might that he could force some of his immortality into her and whispers over and over again, “I love you; I love you, I…” Suddenly he can feel the heat; he has never felt the heat before, what’s going on? He’s not even sure of what this new sensation is, he’d heard it described to him, by her. She breaths. The flames engulf him; he is feeling for the first time this agonizing sensation of being burned. His skin blackens and doesn’t grow back and he lets out a shriek audible for miles around. “What are you doing?!” The voice cries out, alarmed. He leans his head to the woman once more and tires to utter one last “I love you,” but his voice has died. He falls on to the floor convulsing until his body moves no more. Green, red, black, purple, and blue flames dance out of him and disappear into the night. The sorceress with the sugary voice shrieks stopping the flames and runs toward the blackened body of the once immortal. Kneeling down she looks for some sign of life, there is none.  Tall with yellow hair and red claw like nails she cries, “How can he die?! He’s lived 500 years without so much as a scratch!” She begins to shake with tears and anger, tears of fear and anger for what has happened. “He could have been the best weapon in the world, now look at him!!” She digs her nails into her palm until blood starts to ooze out of them. Then she tries the revival sells she knows. Pouring her magic into the charred lifeless body he shakes with power, but not with life. She kicks him standing again. How could things go so wrong? It must have been that little tart that’s been living with him. She looks for her body to kick it too chillingly find it not there. No fear, it probably burned all the way to dust. An icy chill comes over the sorceress. She thinks of all the people who will come after her when they learned she killed him; all the murderous magical hands that will come to destroy her. A breeze flutters through the dark room, that she clearly remembered being sealed. Her heart beat quickens. She turns to leave only to find it is so dark she can’t see. She tries to make a flame with her magic only to realize she’s used all of it in killing and reviving the man, the shadow walker. She swears she feels something grabbing at her robe, but no one is here, right? She turns once again to leave this place find the exit, but she meet by two glowing orbs in the darkness, green orbs. They get closer as she backs up trying to get away. They only get closer. She turns to run, but trips over a body in the dark. The orbs are closer and just as she is about to let out a scream the orbs are on her and her voice is stifled by death. The thing, her killer lights the area and kicks over her body to reveal the shadow walker’s body underneath her. The killer kneels holding the body in its arms. And she whispers, “I love you too, I love you too…” But he never gets up.

omg...so she's immortal because he gave her his immortality and now what!?! she's just stuck! omg! this is so great, but I am so angry! gosh, he just gave his immortality, but is there anyway that she could ever get him back! this is absolutely amazing, I wasn't sure where you were going with it, but once i got to the end it just all clicked...this is so awesome. but now what? seriously, wasn't the immortal guy the main character and now he's dead? ....?
